Nilanjana S Roy is an Indian literary critic and columnist and has worked extensively in publishing and the media. Her most recent stint in publishing was as chief editor of Tranquebar, a rising Indian publishing house. She writes a column on books and reading for the Business Standard, and How To Read in Indian, her collection of literary essays, will be published by HarperCollins in end-2011.
